Foster Dogs

Whosel

We picked up Whosel on February 2, 2001.  Whosel stayed with us for two months.

He was part bull dog, boxer, jack Russell terrier and part Dalmatian.  Very odd mix.

Whosel had been abused and was very aggressive.  Huckleberry and Barkley did not know what to do with the little dog that would try and steal their food.

Whosel would play ball, play ball, and play ball.

After two months, he was completely socialized and he lost his aggressive behavior.

We unfortunately could not find a home for him with people we knew, so to be fair to Whosel we took him back to the Humane Society and he was adopted in two days.

We sure miss him!

Bishop

Bishop came to stay with us on May 9, 2001.  He almost did not leave after two months as he was such a loveable dog.

Bishop was neglected and under weight.  His owners said he would bark all day and would run away.  Well after one day of love and care Bishop never barked and never ran away.

Huckleberry and Barkley loved chasing him around.  Bishop would always obey and within a week we trusted him alone with our dogs in the house.

Bishop

Bishop is a pure breed English Setter.

Geoff and I could not figure out why someone would give up such a wonderful dog like Bishop.

Luckily, I found a co-worker that adopted Bishop and we see him periodically and know he is in a good home.
